The Concept

YOU DON'T NEED A WEEK.
YOU NEED THREE DAYS.

Most tennis problems have a clear root cause. Once we find it and rebuild it correctly, progress is fast. Three focused days are enough to make a lasting change.

Thursday Evening

Arrival and Assessment

You arrive in the Zillertal valley. We have already spoken on the phone, so you are not starting from zero. We go straight on court for 60 to 90 minutes to analyse and find the root cause of your problem. You also get a clear picture of how I coach and what the next three days will look like.

Friday

First Rebuild

One long private session on court. We take what we found Thursday evening and start rebuilding the pattern from the root, with video analysis along the way so you see exactly what is changing.

Saturday

Consolidation Under Pressure

We take what we built on Friday and test it under real match conditions. Drills, live ball, match play. The new pattern has to hold when it matters. This is where the real work happens.

Sunday

Match Play and Your Training Plan

Final session with match play against a hand-picked opponent I arrange, or against me personally. Playing me allows me to actively steer the match, giving you the perfect setups to execute your new patterns under realistic pressure. It's intense, highly tactical, and pure fun. Followed by a personal debrief: what changed, why it changed, and exactly how to keep developing it when you get home. You leave with a written training plan.

One Problem Per Weekend

WHAT CAN WE FIX?

The Serve

Double faults at break points. Flat serve with no kick. Action that collapses under pressure.

The Backhand

The shot that breaks down in the third set. Too passive, too short, no direction under pressure.

The Return

Can't handle big servers. Getting pushed back. No rhythm from the first ball of the rally.

Footwork and Movement

Always in the wrong position. Late to the ball. Recovery too slow after the wide ball.

The Attacking Ball

Short ball comes and you can't put it away. Too tentative, wrong approach, error at the worst moment.

The Volley and Finish

You get to the net and the point falls apart. The approach shot, the first volley, the second volley, the overhead — we build the full attacking sequence so it holds under pressure.

Mental Game

You practise well and compete badly. Leads disappear. The routine before each point is missing.

Or Something Else?

Not on this list? I am open to any problem in tennis. Tell me about it on a 15 minute call, and we will see together if we can fix it.

Getting Here

CLOSE ENOUGH
TO MAKE IT WORK.

The Zillertal valley is two hours from Munich by car. Reachable from Innsbruck Airport (INN) in just 50 minutes. Drive down Thursday afternoon. That evening, we analyse and find the root cause of your problem. Then you train three full days, Friday through Sunday, and head home Sunday night.

Bring your family if you want. The Zillertal is a great place to spend a weekend. While you are on court giving 100%, they have the valley, the mountains, the spa and the restaurants. You train fully. They enjoy fully. Everyone wins.

Sessions run in the morning, while you are fresh. The rest of the day is yours to recover: the hotel spa, a walk in the valley, or just resting up so you are fully ready for the next morning. Accommodation is not included, but there are excellent hotels in the Zillertal, and I am happy to recommend a few, we figure out the right fit together on our call.

FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS

What is your coaching background? add

Tennis has been part of my life since childhood. My father ran a tennis school. I grew up on the court and started teaching other players as a teenager. That early experience of breaking down the game and making it understandable for others shaped how I coach today.

My own playing career took me from Austria to the United States, where I competed at the highest college level and won the NCAA National Championship in 2011. I know exactly what it takes to perform under pressure. And how to build that ability in others.

After my playing career I completed the GPTCA ATP Coach Certification, one of the most respected international coaching qualifications in the sport.

What court surfaces are available? add
Outdoor clay and indoor carpet courts are available in the Zillertal valley, within a short drive of your hotel. All court bookings are handled by me, your only job is to show up ready to train.
Who is this weekend designed for? add
This weekend is for players who are serious about solving one specific problem, not for someone who just wants to hit a few balls. Whether you are an advanced club player, a tournament competitor, or returning to competitive tennis after years away: if you have a clear goal and are ready to work intensely for three days, this is for you. I work with adults, individually or in pairs.
What does a typical day look like? add

Thursday evening we go straight on court for 60 to 90 minutes to analyse and find the root cause of your problem. Friday, Saturday and Sunday each bring one long private session in the morning, with video analysis built in along the way.

The rest of each day is yours to recover: the hotel spa, a walk in the valley, or just resting up for the next morning. Sunday closes with match play and your personal training plan to take home.

Is accommodation included? add
Accommodation is not included in the coaching package rate. There are many excellent hotels in the Zillertal valley, and I am happy to recommend a few that fit your style and budget. We figure out the right fit together on our call, before you book anything.
Can I bring my family? add
Absolutely. The Zillertal valley is one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the Austrian Alps, with hiking, cycling and world-class skiing available depending on the season. While you train in the morning, your family has the whole afternoon: the valley, the mountains, the spa, the restaurants. Many players turn the weekend into a short family trip.
What happens after I book a call? add
We talk through your game, your goal and the exact problem we are going to solve. If it is a good fit, we lock in your weekend, and I start preparing before you even arrive.
